ABOUT AWT

Austin Women in Technology is an Austin-based 501(c)(3) organization. Chartered in 2000, we are a professional organization committed to providing opportunities for women in technology to network and assist others who work in or have a passion for technology. We offer:

  • Events in Austin and virtual events
  • Networking for jobs in tech
  • Professional development
  • Allyship and mentors
  • Leadership and executive coaching

The founding members of AWT are trailblazers. They were the first in their families to attend college, to study in tech, or to start a company. They were the first female managers and board members in their companys. AWT continues to be a support system for women pushing their own boundaries - whether they be the first, fiftieth, or five-hundredth to achieve their goals.

We're building a visible community of individuals supporting women in tech. We offer opportunities for networking and programs for members to learn about a variety of topics. Members also have the chance to work side-by-side with other intelligent, civic-minded women through our volunteer leadership positions.

OUR MISSION

Austin Women in Technology is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating a community of women interested in technology. We aim to foster the personal and professional success of women by providing opportunities to connect, learn, grow, and lead.
