Tim Mattox presents on Green IT and Dell's Green Mission of "Developing and embracing the highest environmental standards to regenerate our planet"; followed by an informal discussion on technology.
Mr. Mattox serves as Dell's vice president of strategy. In this role he works
directly with Michael Dell, CEO, on major strategic issues and opportunities
for the company.
Prior to his
current role, Mr. Mattox served as a marketing executive within the Dell
Americas and Product Group organizations and as vice president of strategy for
Dell's Enterprise Systems Group.
Prior to
joining Dell in 1998, he was a consultant with Bain & Company. Mr. Mattox
also served as a senior product line manager for Oracle Corporation running
Oracle's DEC UNIX product line.
Mr. Mattox
holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in business
administration from Stanford University.
